Our step-by-step guide to obtaining a unique and contemporary rendering of your beloved animal.
A Dog Photo We Love
This photo is a great example because it has natural light and shows us clearly what the dog looks like with lots of opportunity for creative detail work.
1. Send 3-5 high quality photos of the pet.
Each of our portraits is based on a photo of your animal. Ideally, please send us clear photos with good lighting, and a composition that you find enjoyable. The more dynamic and lively, the better.
Rectangular shaped photos work best, whether Portrait or Landscape in orientation. Generally iPhone photos work well, as long as there is light!
2. tell us what you wish to receive.
You can leave most of these details up to the artist! However, if you have preferences, please let us know whether you prefer:
Black & White or Partial-Color Drawings
Simple or Detailed Line Drawings
Any Watercolor Paint or Colored Ink incorporated
11” x 14” or 11”x11” Sizes are available. If you prefer something smaller, we can accommodate that, although it may cost just as much as a larger drawing.
Framed by the Artist or Unframed
Shipped or Hand-Delivered for Arizona Dwellers
If you need the drawing completed and shipped by a certain date, please let us know before we start!
3. We provide you a quote and hit the drawing board.
Once you agree to the quote and related terms, we will get started. Depending on the level of detail, the price typically ranges from $250-$500.
